Some people prefer the Bitcoin as the main virtual currency, others want to see the Ripple XRP in the spotlights. I''m not sure to make a choise, making a choise means you are going to classify one above or beneath the other. Its better to see them as equals in creation, both very flexible and suitable for the Web, not very stable for the moment but this is because they are new money, this is a child disease and will disappear in the near future.
Fact is, they are very much wanted and needed on the Internet, there is no other choise. You can't virtualize physical money, you only can exchange and transform it into something not existing, some kind of gost-money moving very slow on the Internet highways creating here and there a serious traffic jam.
